Introduction

The Student Counselling Centre (SCC) at FFU is a dedicated unit focused on fostering students’ mental, emotional, and academic well-being. The Office

The Student Counselling Centre operates as a specialized unit under the Office of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, providing structured and professional support to all students.

  • Individual Counselling: Personal and emotional support for stress, anxiety, and depression, promoting self-esteem, resilience, and confidence.
  • Academic Counselling: Guidance on study strategies, time management, exam preparation, performance anxiety, and academic motivation to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Career Guidance: Assistance with career planning, CV and cover letter writing, interview preparation, internships, and employability support for future success.

Ways of Accessing Services

  • Walk-in Visits: Available during official working hours for immediate support.
  • Referral System: Students may be referred by faculty, administrative staff, or peers for specialized guidance.
  • Online Requests: Submit requests via official university email for flexible access to counselling services.
  • Outreach Programs: Scheduled awareness campaigns and sessions to promote mental health and academic well-being across the campus.
