Program Description

The Master of Public Health in Nutrition focuses on the role of nutrition in promoting health and preventing disease at individual, community, and population levels. The program emphasizes food security, maternal and child nutrition, diet-related chronic diseases, and nutrition policy and programming.

Students gain the ability to assess nutritional status, design and implement nutrition interventions, and contribute to research that addresses pressing nutritional challenges. Graduates will be well-prepared to work in ministries of health, hospitals, NGOs, research institutions, and international agencies dedicated to improving food and nutrition security.

Program Duration & Requirement

Duration: 1.5 years (4 semesters), including coursework, field practicum in nutrition programs, and a research thesis.

Admission Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Food Science, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory Sciences, or a related health field from a recognized institution.
