Program Description

The Master of Public Health in Epidemiology provides advanced training in the study of disease patterns, causes, and prevention in populations. The program emphasizes research design, surveillance systems, outbreak investigation, and the application of statistical methods to public health problems.

Students develop the skills to generate reliable evidence for decision-making and to design interventions that reduce disease burden and improve population health. Graduates will be prepared to work in government health agencies, research institutes, hospitals, NGOs, and international health organizations.

Program Duration & Requirement

Duration: 1.5 years (4 semesters), including coursework, field practicum in epidemiological settings, and a research thesis.

Admission Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, Laboratory Sciences, Statistics, or a related health field from a recognized institution.
