Program Description
The Master of Counselling Psychology is designed to prepare graduates with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. The program combines strong theoretical foundations with applied clinical training.
Students develop the competencies required to provide effective psychological counselling services in hospitals, community health centers, schools, and private practice settings. The program also prepares graduates for careers in research, teaching, and policy development within the field of mental health.
Program Duration & Requirement
Duration: Two years (4 semesters), including coursework, supervised clinical practicum, and a research thesis.
Admission Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field (e.g., Counseling, Psychiatry, Health Sciences, or Social Work) from a recognized institution.
